For years, visual thinking tools could be neatly divided into three categories: mind mapping, concept mapping and diagramming. But that's no longer the case. These neat categories have become increasingly blurred. Plus, new types of visual tools have emerged, such as visual note-taking, visual whiteboards, infographics, data visualization and personal knowledge management.
