Current Reality Tree (CRT)

A CRT is the first of a series of thinking processes from the Theory of Constraints by Eliyahu M. Goldratt. It allows you to identify the root cause(s) for your problems from a list of UnDesirable Effects (UDEs), or irritants that you come up with. I created this example based on what is presented in Goldratt's book "The Goal". You would normally also identify solutions once you found the root cause(s), but in this example, we've stopped at the root cause.
